Hello, and welcome to I’m designer.

While this blog will primarily focus on graphic design, don’t be fooled into thinking that this is just another one of those graphic design blogs that you might check out once in a while to get a free vector.

What’s the difference? Well, I’m not a traditional graphic designer. By day, I am a visual journalist. I work for a newspaper doing page layout and design, as well as editing. And by night, I indulge in many different facets of the world of design. I work on freelance projects and create cool things for my friends and family to enjoy.

If you love to create, you’ll have a lot of fun here. I am a highly collaborative individual and enjoy discussion and feedback on my own work (which I will post here from time to time), and learning about the creative things other people out in the world are working on.

I welcome all traditional graphic designers and non-traditional ones as well as photographers, writers, editors, digital scrapbookers, web designers, etc.
